C&G Custom Boards was born from a love of hands-on craftsmanship and a lifelong appreciation for quality tools and hard work. After college, I began my career in the automotive repair industry, eventually shifting gears into welding — a trade I enjoyed for many years.
My dad spent over 40 years working for a Volvo construction equipment dealer, and throughout his career, we shared a passion for building things with our hands. Woodworking quickly became our creative outlet. Over the years, we steadily built up a well-equipped woodshop, including adding a CNC machine to push our projects even further.What started as a hobby turned into an obsession when we discovered the beauty and complexity of end grain cutting boards. Inspired by the stunning patterns and durability they offer, we knew we had found our next venture.
